Not a good location for a Motel 6. That area along with the area north of Dry Creek Rd. near Dayton & Clinton has plenty of cheaper long term stay motels. The clientele those places draw is not appropriate to be located so close to Willow Creek & Dry Creek Elementary Schools.

Area zoning and design restrictions should be revisited. Most residents are not aware of current restrictions.

Please select a larger room for the next meeting. Most of us did not know about this Motel 6 situation until neighbors started telling each other a day or two prior to the meeting. With the information now out and hopefully with better weather you can probably expect 1000 or more people at the next meeting.

My children will one day be attending Dry Creek Elementary and I do not feel comfortable having a Motel 6 in such close proximity to an elementary school and I'm sure most parents would feel the same.

These properties are used as cheap long term rentals. Not appropriate near schools and established neighborhoods

I am greatly opposed to this development being put in so close to our neighborhood. PLEASE STOP this construction project. I am not opposed to other businesses going into this area, but it should be in keeping with what is currently there and surrounding.

This budget hotel will be right down the street from an elementary school. We do not want our children exposed to possible child traffic danger as such budget hotels present.

QUESTION: how is allowing the construction of a "Motel 6" on south Yosemite, near Dry Creek Rd. in agreement with the City of Centennial's Mission Statement? ANSWER: ITS NOT!!! Please don't ruin our neighborhood(s) by allowing this project to proceed. There a already Enough "nice" hotels and motels throughout this southeast part of Denver. Thank you!

The proposed business (motel 6/ budget hotel) on this property does not reflect the demographics of the area , poses a serious risk of increasesed crime to the neighboring residence of Willow Creek, and could become a burden to the the Cherry Creek School District system by providing extended housing (no maximum limit is set by the business on an individual or family stay) at low cost. This would allow families to enroll their children into the school system without contributing to the school funding through tax paying dollars. The P&Z city representatives indicated this will not be a considering factor during the review process as the property is zoned commercial lodging and therefore does not fall into the normal process review of residential development and its impact on the school system. Additionally, sex offenders and other convicted felons are not required to register them self while living at these types of property as it's not considered a permanent residence. With various elementary schools and homes within walking distance this poses a serious risk to the hundreds of children living in Willow Creek and surrounding neighborhoods. Lastly, the residence of Willow Creek and employees of the affected business park strongly believes they could benefit from a different form of business that could serve the interests of its permanent residence on a regular basis to those of passing travelers with little to no ties to the community. Many other hotels are operating in close proximity to this proposed site and they never seem to be at capacity. A Day care center, restaurant, grocery store, and/ or coffee house are all better options that could serve the community in a positive manner and help drive growth and desire to live and work in the area. In the interest of the community, please reject this business proposal.
Thank you.
