Stop the Proposed Motel 6 on S. Yosemite St. in Centennial

Strongly oppose the building of this hotel. It doesn’t belong.

Please don't make this area trash!

We believe this is not a proper use for this location because of traffic and extended hours of operation.

No way is this advantageous for the area. No to this.

There is no upside for our city to this being here. It's too close to the school--it's too attractive to pedophiles and sex trafficking and drug dealers and sex offenders and anyone else targeting kids!

This type of business, which has a bad reputation due to its clientele, does not belong in a primarily residential neighborhood.

Bad for the nabe, oppose!

I support the purpose of this petition, I lend my voice in opposing the construction of these types of facilities in thos zoning.

This type of business does not belong in a residential area, an area of office buildings nor near schools, especially elementary schools. Let's bring businesses to Centennial, just not this type of business.

OThe low quality and bad reputation of the clientele of this hotel chain is not in keeping with the values of the local neighborhoods or City of Centennial.

Keep our neighborhood safe!

I strongly oppose the building of a Motel 6 in the proposed location.

Please do not allow a crime-magnet, low-end extended stay motel so close to a high density residential area and elementary school.

Stop encroaching on residential areas with poor city planning and schemes.

Centennial has banned marijuana dispensaries. Although they are legal, the City Council determined that their existence within our city limits was not in keeping with the quality of life they envision for our city. Likewise, low budget, long term motels seem to attract less than desirable activity. The kind of activity that also is not in keeping with the values and goals of our area. Although long term stay motels are legal and within the parameters of the zoning for their proposed site, it is NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST of our community. Please find a way to keep, low budget, long term stay motels out of our city. If Greenwood Village had it to do all over again, likely, knowing what they now know, they would have prevented it. The evidence is here for all to see, don't make the same HUGE MISTAKE.

I am adamantly opposed to having a Motel 6 extended stay hotel in our are. They do not follow their own established policies to keep the hotel on Arapahoe Rd safe, and I do not expect them to keep the proposed hotel in our area safe either. NO MOTEL 6!
