Willow Creek, Walnut Hills, the townhouses and condominiums are occupied by families with children. Motel 6 serves transients. These two communities are not compatible.

No to Motel 6. I'm opposed to the construction of a Motel 6 on S. Yosemite St south of Dry Creek Rd. This type of budget motel doesn't seem a good fit for the area being surrounded by residential neighborhoods. It also isn't the type of lodging that the nearby businesses and corporations in the office parks and commercial sites would utilize for employees and visitors. The demographics and location do not seem a good fit at all for this location and the land would be far better suited and utilized for different purposes; ideally housing which is in far higher demand in this neighborhood than a budget motel that would be. The plan is in great conflict with it's surroundings. Please don't approve the project and this type of use for the location.

See ‘Traded and Trafficked in Colorado!’, a RMPBS documentary showing Motel 6 as a preferred location for sexual exploitation of kids in CO. Don’t want them or other low budget motels in Centennial.
