NO MORE STATIC CARAVANS ON OUR HISTORIC HILLSIDES

Such a shame to even think about this destruction of the beautiful, ancient and precious countryside.

Strongly object to this appalling destruction of a beautiful landscape.

Surely the motte wand bailey are listed and as such can’t be built on anyway. To place that many caravans in one spot in that position would be a dreadful eyesore. No harm in developing tourist facilities so long as it has no real and permanent impact on the country side. Whatever is provided should be ultra green and sustainable and enhance the area.

I don’t feel we need any more statics here in Llandinam/Caersws area. They will most definitely spoil the countryside and views

A so beautifull landscape....

We need a balance in all things and this is not a balance of interests

Development represents a very poor understanding of the reason to enjoy a beautiful and special place. It must not be permitted.

Adding to the tourist industry Huh! The only profit this will make will be for the farmer (who is probably on Powys council anyway. When are those idiots on Powys Council going to learnt hat tourism is a self cannibalising industry. By marketing areas of natural beauty all you do is seriously detract from there charm

This is unnecessary destruction of beautiful countryside.

Mid Wales has reached saturation point with statics

This will be a blight on the landscape, provide very few permanent jobs and just line the pockets of already wealthy landowners - basically it is all about GREED.

There are already enough static sites locally. I do not feel that we need any more spoiling our countryside.

This sort of proposed development negates the very reason for wanting to come here in the first place.

As a regular visitor to this area of Wales, increasing the number of static caravan sites appears to show a total lack of imagination from those that want to improve the area.

This is barbaric, thoughtless, unnecessary, without sympathy or understanding of the local environment, destructive in every way, unimaginative, polluting, anti-green, anti-Wales, anti-everything except corporate and personal greed.

This is clearly overkill - far too much concentrated in a small area - spoiling the whole reason visitors want to come to the Mid Wales landscapes

I understand that we need to attract more visitors and that tourism is a critical part of our economy, but this proposed development is inappropriately sited and will have a deleterious effect on the local wildlife and population. I believed there is insufficient consideration given (in the proposed development) to the run-off of water in a fragile and flood-prone environment. There are more sympathetic ways to achieve what we need to do.

This is environmentally unsound. Further encroachment on wildlife habitat is unjustified.

There are far too many static caravans. If tourism is to be encouraged far more eco friendly ways of doing this should be considered. Statics are a blight on the coast near where I live, preventing access and discouraging wildlife.

We have enough of these statics already.
