This development serves no benefit except to the land owner. Low paid and seasonal work, environmental & social impact on the landscape. We deserve better in Mid Powys and need you as our representatives to consider what kind of environment, work and community should be moving forward around Caersws. The Status Quo needs to change for everyones benefit and not the few. Dylan Jones

I have not got over the trauma of the flooding last year (October to March) and probably never will. This proposal could have a devastating effect on innocent people's lives.

This company have been swanning around the place locally claiming they’ll be having the planning accepted within weeks, if true this is a terrible time for us caersws residents :( thanks councillors !

as a young person who has been brought up in this area, it would be have a devastating long term impact on ecology, quality of life and destroy forever a beautiful historic landscape.

The recent floods in the area would be worse with over a 100 statics, This isn’t Rhyl !

An outrageously high amount of static caravans, like building a village in an unspoilt natural environment - just too many, also have heard there are already other nearby static caravan businesses which could suffer from this .

The proposed development is too large for a Welsh hillside

They will have people living in the caravans just like on their other parks which isn’t aloud. The nature will be spoilt.

This kind of application would not be accepted in any other area in the uk, but nothing surprises me with Powys county council, this will be such a blot on our countryside.

Facilities can be used by local people ? I think not, it’s just a way of sweetening the deal with the councillors !

It’s just too many in a small area

Very poor placement, environmentally detrimental and little or no consultation

This will be damaging to the environment and the ecology of the area. It will be an eyesore on the hillside. There are already enough caravans. It is not likely to generate much work or income to the local community.

It will be intrusive on the hillside.

Building the caravan would ruin how beautiful it is here.

I am a resident of the United States and employee of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. I regularly travel to Caersws for the art at the Mid Wales Art Center and the beautiful landscapes surrounding the area. I heard about the plan for a caravan park and I feel it would be a real environmental disaster. Please do not damage this beautiful place. You should be proud of it and maintain it.

My concern is for visual impact on the local archaeology with so many caravans

I have visited friends in the area and find it beautiful, it would be terrible to see this destroyed. With the increased risk of flooding downhill to consider too, this really should be turned down.
