Remove Principal Sue Ross & Leadership from Loudoun Valley High School

We deserve to have a principal that isn’t playing on her phone during our “we are all human” assemblys. we deserve a principal that knows her students and isn’t bias towards her students as well.

as a senior at valley this year, i’ve seen this school go downhill wayyy too fast. my freshman and sophomore year there were actual rules and punishments (roaming the halls, leaving school...you needed a pass to go everywhere). this past year, it’s just been a free for all everywhere. you’ll just see kids sitting in the halls on their phones for the entire block. every freshman is rude, entitled, and has absolutely no manners because they think they can get away with everything in the school and there are no boundaries. everyone is making a big deal out of students leaving with the car passes, but honestly I feel like most people just walk out a side door and text a friend to come open it because we all know no one checks the cameras. this school is becoming a mess and i’m glad i’m graduating.

Personally I see Sue once a year, so three times since I am currently a junior at LVHS. Some of these things I never knew the slightest about such as the pedophile situation. Honestly it would be nice to be a little more controlled.

Boss Ross needs to go!! She is never in the hallway. At senior night for track, she said how much she will miss me when she did not even know me!

I am a rising 10th grader at LVHS, and for my first year of high school, I have never met Ms. Ross, until Loudoun Times Mirror exposed LVHS and Sue Ross and I am glad they exposed us, because she needs to go

Sue Ross refused to let my club do any sort of club fundraising for no apparent reason. My club members tried talking to her maturely and politely, but the entire time she antagonized them, and belittled them. I have only seen her 2 in my entire high school career, and it seems like she only started to care about the school the second the Loudoun Times released an article.

I came into high school with high expectations of getting my grades changed, she never came thru, very disappointed

Ross should have been out 10 years ago. She is not for the students and instills fear in her employees if they should speak up. In my case, she derailed and protected guidance mistakes that cost my daughter her advanced diploma that she worked so hard for by placing her in one class that was in direct conflict with her external education psychologist report of capability and IEP. She had to drop out with no alternative which is the ONE class that cost her when she worked so hard to make all the other credit requirements. When meeting with Ross to resolve she was on the defense, offered no input and put me through an inquisition even telling me I repeatedly contradicted myself and lied during our meeting (which I was very well prepared for with the facts and arguments so I was able to diffuse those tactical diversions on her part - very manipulative to get her way). While I was able to stand up to her, the result was non-existent - no action plan, no explanation... nothing - just a dismissal. Pulled my second daughter out of Valley last year and her new school is night and day! Get rid of ROSS
