Dear Parents,

As the reduced threat of Covid, with the Omicron variant, has become clearer, I'd like to gauge interest from parents in getting rid of the masks for our kids. I'm sure many of you have noticed, there is a significant reduction in the wearing of masks in public and work spaces and so why should our children continue to suffer in silence.

Even our family doctor said I didn't need to wear a mask in his rooms when getting my moles checked last week! And it is clear our children are getting sick from each other while wearing masks. So what are they wearing them for?

We'd like to understand how much interest there is to stop the need for masks at the school. This is a petition from the parents only and has nothing to do with the teachers of the school.

As was the case at the beginning of this pandemic, there was a choice to wear masks and the choice can remain for those who choose to use it.
