I am not in favor of locating high density housing in an already congested area of town near the school and historic district. This could potentially impact the expansion of the school, which appears to be already needed. There are other locations within the town in which high density housing would have less impact.

I am not against apartments in general, but I am against them in the crowded 101 area of Bedford, and at this point in time when our schools are already so overcrowded that the kids can’t get to class on time. Developers should not have the ability to tie into school resources that may be needed for future expansion of schools. Wetlands should not be destroyed. Needs of our current residents need to be put before new development.

It looks like we already have approximately 900+ apartments in Bedford, including 133 approved apartments at Wayfarer project at old Macy’s site. Town officials want expanded police, fire, library, and town offices already due to stressed resources.
No more apartments. High school reportedly over-populated. Kindergarten - 40+ unpredicted children this September in schools requiring 2 additional kindergarten teachers. Where did those children come from? Why didn’t school admin know they were in town? People on fixed income cannot remain in town if elected/appointed officials keep urbanizing our beautiful rural town. Stop already.

This will only add to the strain on public services and home owners will have to pick up the tab via higher taxes.

While projects such as this make the developers a great deal of money, I do not believe we need to sacrifice the character of Bedford to fill the pockets of those who seek to profit from the annihilation of our community as we know it.

I think more apartments in Bedford is going to cost taxpayers more, cause more congestion and larger schools. I love the small town feel of Bedford and want to keep it that way.

Bedford is wonderful because there are large spaces and is largely unpopulated in places. By filling it with apartments it destroys thd very thing which makes it special.
No way!
