Support Local Control of Education - Get Missouri Out Of Common Core

Degradation of U.S. and a windfall for the monopolies that own us

I am glad to see parents, teachers, and politicians standing together to do what is right for our children. Common Core is nothing but a program for the government to dum down our children. We must continue to get more people invovled so our children can be educated properly.

Common Core is the wrong direction. We always taught our kids and were in control of what our schools taught and how they taught. Education is not mentioned in our constitution because our fore fathers knew parents were always the stewards of the next generation. So COMMON CORE, Dept Of Education (Federal) and any Presidental Letter needs to go and leave our children alone.

I hope & pray Common Core can be removed from schools.

Keep fighting against Common Core, It another way to control the people and take away our rights.

I can't believe what's going on NOW in our education system. Enough is enough. The government needs to get out. Period.

The teachers unions and the federal government (which promote socialism) need to stay out of all issues relating to our children's education. Their only goal is to continue to dummy-down our children in order for the "powers that be" to be able to blindly lead our children down a dangerous path... Remember the Hitler Youth Movement?! The U.S. is already headed down a path which will be Nazi Germany all over again. Be warned.

The government needs to stay out of EVERYTHING! Too much gov control! Gov has become too large and needs to be thinned!!!!!

This is a ridiculous way of teaching if an adult has a hard time doing it how do you expect a child to be able to..

One of the worst programs I can think of poorly pretending that this will benefit children. It is just the opposite. The ones who help design this must have a deep and hidden agenda which many of us already know is confusion and indoctrination. That's the bottom, rather top line.

I have grand-children in grade school at this time and feel this program is not best way to teach and grade students. The Federal Government is again trying to eliminate the parent's from any decisions concerning their children.

My son has this at school and it it so hard to help him. He is just barely getting by.

Stop Common Core!

Teachers at Cooter Missouri do not want Common Core.

We don't need a new way to learn, its not broken, don't fix it.

The Federal Gov't. has no authority meddling in local education. Art. !, Sect. 8 of the U.S. Constitution is is the Feds area of gonernance and NOTHING ELSE!!!!!!

Common core is absurd. If my child wants to be an accountant, banker, or anything involving math let alone balance their own bank account is going to screw them. I do not understand how anyone who cares about the future of our children or the country for that matter should oppose this ridiculous learning system.

I am against the implementation of common core in Missouri and my children's school! I have found nothing positive or a valid reason why we should change the current curriculum!
