Please don't teach my children this horrible method. It is totally different than how I teach them and it doesn't make sense.

Help our students!

Getting with this movement to dismantle Common Core and perhaps even seen the criminals brought to justice!

Common core needs to stop IMMEDIATELY.

I am raising my two grand daughters. They were left emotionally bruised from a very abusive home life. I have been trying to built their confidence thru acomplishments. Last year their school put common core in place, it has only hurt their self esteem with the confusing math and standardized tests designed for them to fail. Please, for the sake of our children's future; get rid of common core.

I'm tired of my daughter bawling every night over this crazy math that is being taught. I can't even help her, I have no clue how to do 2nd grade math!

This doesn't look like the American way. It looks like we want our kids to be common-to-the-core.

I have a hug problem with how common core is educating my daughter in math. I do not understand why they are not teaching our children the basic rules and all this drawing and number line junk seems pointless and more like the long way around.

My 6th grader went from Math being her favorite subject to hating it this year after implementing Common Core. She was a straight A student that loved school. Now she doesn't want to go and cries during math homework. Needless to say, we are not fans of it and are fighting to see it disappear! Every parent that I speak with are having the same problems! What can we do about this?

I moved to kirkwood for the school system. I just learned of common core this past week after hearing parents with multiple degrees talk of not understanding their elementary students work. I did some light cc reading this week, and am very much considering private school. I am appalled by private schools- but more disgusted with cc. Why- in a world where we need to make quick decisions as adults are we making kids do something that takes 4 times as long and the rest if us who aren't dumb- quite successful actually- don't understand.

The Tenth Ammendment forbids U.S. control of our local schools PERIOD. Hitler did this 75 years ago. We will get the same results if we do not stop Common Core.

LET ME KNOW ANY OTHER WAY I CAN HELP!

This needs to go. I will be pushing this petition to my small town. Look for this to start to grow. I'm on a mission now and common crap is my target. Thank you for all you've done. Its our kids future at stake here. God bless.

common core will ruin us in the end. we were once leaders in technology using the same teaching principles that were in place before common core. It has to do with a desire to learn, not a teaching style.

As parents we have to protect our children from this indoctrination. It's truly sad that we would let government reach this far. We have to stop it now!

I only support Local Control of Education in aspect of it.
