This is a good common sense petition. Clarification: last night (9/11/24) county engineer agreed that the mine will add 400 dump truck trips PER DAY to the CR 78 traffic. That is a massive hit to the CR 78 community, Alva, and LaBelle. Stay strong.

I don't live in the area affected but my son does. We are already loosing agricultural land to solar fields we don't need mines. When you allow one then more will pop up, there will be no stopping them.

We do not need this here. If you want to see what 78 will look like if the mine is approved. Take a drive down crescent acres off 78. It is a road where r&r has a mine

This will cause significant environmental challenges to wildlife, drainage, noise, traffic, and financial shortfalls to neighboring property owners. The owner of subject parcel has already illegally mined this property and has caused major impacts with his other mining operation to the local property owners in that area

My 17 year old daughter drives that road everyday, I am scare for her safety. Dump truck drives have a proven record of driving and speeding in this area, put 40O loads a day on the road and you will be turning a rural area into a death trap.

NO MINING IN FT DENAUD! Our children and our family will DIE as a result of this and negligent dump truck drivers. The roads will be DESTROYED and county tax payers will be left to clean up the mess. SAY NO
