Totally inappropriate location for this! Our children play at the park right across the street! Why does our small town need such a facility anyway?! No thank you!

This is not needed in this small town! We shouldn't even consider a methadone clinic at all here!! I have seen too many people die from methadone overdoses!

we don't condone methadone! Monument is a community full of thriving small business, manicured parks and residences. If downtown D.C., Philidelphia, Denver or Deteoit fights to get them out or stopped why in the world would we want one in downtown Monument?!

We need to have some progressive thinkers for this town and get a real plan for our community. There is drug recovery going in Palmer Lake already. Not smart right next to the park and homes.

This is absolutely the wrong location for this in our community. Without being judgmental we still want to be realistic and the reality is that having that across from a park is putting our children at risk of needles and other drugs. Also it puts our historic downtown at risk of becoming less popular with the transients and heavy drug users populating in front of our community business. This is not a stereotype but a fact as it is that way at all methadone clinics. The business alone would let people know that Monument has a heroin problem and will ruin the beautiful reputation we have as a clean town.
