Common sense disappears when zealots are in charge. Was the public ever even consulted on this matter? Move the site into the homes of those who planned to put this "clinic" downtown!

Our small community should not put up with this. Keep these treatment centers in the big city!! Colo Spgs, Denver, etc. Access is poor here, why do we want to bring the issues? And next to a park... Really, who thought this was a good idea.

A halfway house off Spruce Road, the hotel/resort turned into a rehab center, and a Methadone/Heroine recover center across from the city park...where's the consideration of secondary criminal activity based on the individuals who are being 'treated'? Statistics in the FBI's annual crime report identify that 60% of crime is conducted by the same 6% of the population, year over year. Who actually thinks these 'treated' individuals will not relapse in our town, especially with the wide availability of state-legalized THC? Unbelievable. Score one for city council. Great way to keep our families and businesses safe...

Monument residents need town council members who will actually protect the best interests of the Monument residents. From what I've seen, this is just one fine example of how they are failing miserably.

As a medical professional, both a paramedic and a nurse, I understand the need for clinics like this. However, a better place would be closer to a hospital not across the street from a public park where families take their children to play in a safe environment.

Amazingly poor location for this. Near LCF and Limbach Park. Not sure if it's too late to stop this, but I am definitely opposed to the location.
