The scope of this project is not in accordance with the character of the neighborhood. A commercial building of this size (12000 sq ft.) will further complicate the existing traffic congestion on Washington and Swanton Street causing significant delays to Winchester Hospital (safety concern), the Transfer Station, Muraco School, St. Mary's Church, Rt. 93/95 access, etc. Safety concerns include increased crime, increased traffic, 55 ft. delivery trucks navigating residential neighborhoods, risk to children walking to schools as well as pedestrians walking to town center, train, etc.

CVS Caremark continues to ignore our neighborhood concerns while they push to destroy our local character for profit. I am in contact with planning officials to demand they recognize the gridlock this monstrosity will create near our schools and hospital. Do not let them think we are going to roll over and accept their reckless construction plans.

The momentum we have built makes it clear that Winchester refuses to let CVS ruin our neighborhood. CVS Caremark Corp. thinks they can steamroll this town but they are dead wrong. We are forcing them to pay attention.

traffic is already a nightmare at that intersection. we dont need more trucks blocking the way to the hospital.
My kids walk past that corner every morning. Way too dangerous with 18 wheelers turning there.
The traffic is bad enough right now especially near the school. Why would they ever approve this?
Enough is enough. Stop the CVS.
Winchester doesn't need another giant chain store. Keep the character of our town!!!!
