A Lawful Petition for Redress of Grievances by We The People of Collier County
Whereas, The Collier County School Board has decided to try and force our children to wear masks and goggles to school in an attempt to keep them safe from Covid-19, without any regard for personal health freedom or our children's first amendment rights.
Therefore, We The People of Collier County lawfully and formally petition the Collier County Public School Board to withdraw its draconian plan of masking our children and pushing the "new normal" narrative;
Therefore, We The People of Collier County lawfully and formally petition the Collier County Public School Board Members to hold a Town Hall meeting, and have a thorough discussion with the parents and the Citizens and the students about what schooling looks like this year.

The Collier County School Board thinks they can ignore us while they force these masks on our children. We are almost at 500 signatures so get this link to everyone you know right now to ensure they cannot look away from our demands.

I can't imagine having to wear a mask and goggles all day plus social isolation in a classroom. Wearing masks between classes? Ok. Goggles? What about students who wear glasses to see? Seems like too much and very impractical.
How do you expect 5 year old going to kindergarten to wear a mask a goggles all day? There is no evidence that’ children are passing this virus around and masks, according to CDC themselves, can be harmful.
NO masks NO goggles!! Don’t take away parents rights to decide what’s best for our children. The fact that you want to put masks on children anyways is such a hoax!! They will touch it 10000 times a day!!
Small children can’t reasonably wear masks AND goggles all day! My kid tried them on and he immediately said he couldn’t breathe and the goggles fogged up. So claustrophobic! Let the teachers wear full face shields, if they want to, but don’t do this to the kids!
This is not the right thing to do to our children. It causes emotional stress on them. Children now they say do NOT spread the virus. So why the mask and googles? Get these kids back to normal.
Board meeting is Tuesday the 28th! Everyone needs to be there to voice their opposition of the masks

No masks , no goggles. That's an impossible learning enviroment for children. Virtual classromms even with a complete rehaul from what we experienced the last semester of 19/20 year, is not feasible for many parents.
