The negatives listed here could leave a lasting impression and resentment of the classroom. We wish to prioritize a positive social environment for our kids as well, and the masks cloud the ability to read faces.

This is a make it or break it decision for our family. My son will be starting kindergarten and masks are not beneficial but instead they are harmful for his development to begin school.

School as usual for the healthy. No masks or social distancing. Both are psychologically and relationally harmful. If someone chooses to wear a mask then that is fine. No mandatory masks or distancing.

my child has spd, allergies and add. He cannot deal with masks in addition to his challenges.

Long time TCA parent. If there is no empirical evidence that indicates kids are At more risk from COVID-19 than the seasonal flu, there is no legitimate reason for masks or any other prophylactic measures to be taken.
