To put criminals on a pedestal is wrong in every possible way. You are really intending to honor someone like this?! How dare you!!!!!

How dare the idiots honor a career criminal...I love SF, but I will never visit the city again...

What a joke! And people wonder why we have so many violent criminals....no consequences for the crimes and now we reward them for it as well. Every single one of these morons that approved this has blood on their hands and are a huge part of the problem. They should be ashamed and hopefully karma catches up to them!

No day of remembrance for slain SF Police Officers but one for a career criminal? Leadership in SF is a joke! There is no leadership!

Don't honor a violent criminal. Honor the brave officers who confronted this criminal, at risk to themselves and protecting the public.

This is the most insane thing I've ever heard! Why would anybody be honored who has victimized other innocent people and has been a drain on society his entire adult life.

Disgusting and offensive to honor a thug.

Celebrating a man that just stabbed someone is just a slap in the face to all victims.
