Remember the ones who fought the goon fight for our cities and country, not thugs!

Councilmembers of San Francisco, you all sicken me. Why would you honor a criminal who stabbed an innocent civilian. YOU ARE WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR SOCIETY! This is obviously a political move, and it is so disgraceful! Support your first responders who risk their lives daily for you. If not for you, support them for the sake of your constituents.

Even by San Francisco standards, this is ridiculous. A slap to the face to everyone who has ever worn a badge or who is a decent law abiding citizen!

Anyone who wants to honor this criminal is a disgrace.

An embarrassment to the city.

It's deplorable that anyone would think of honoring a criminal in this state or any other. Please show respect where it's due and not for a parolee who assaulted another person. What are you people thinking?

The city of San Francisco must be ran by idiots for even considering something like that.

Why doesn't San Francisco also enact a day of remembrance for Jeffery Dahmer while they are at it.

Deepest sympathies to his family for their loss, but nobody forced him into his actions.

You are what is wrong with America today. I'm all for civil rights and checks and balances, however, this is 100% ignorance and filth on the part of San Fransisco. I love San Francisco, it's a beautiful city and a beautiful and diverse community, however, the city council should be ASHAMED of themselves for allowing and encouraging such filth to be promoted and celebrated in one of this countries gretest cities. God bless the San Francisco Police Department, and I pray that the city will rid itself of such ignorance and garbage in city hall and elect new and educatEd members who represent the 98%.

I wish I could say I was shocked but this is to be expected by this bunch. They are always more concerned about the criminal than the victim. Hopefully one of them will be a victim one day an we can hold a day of honor for whatever criminal inflicted some reality on this misfits.
