Shame on the SF Supervisors. No police services for them. Let them call a felon for help.

My god I feel bad for the officers who have to work in San Fran. What on earth is going on in the heads of the voters. I don't see how the most liberal ones can even put up with this! God bless the LEO's I wish there was a 911 out of order day.

If San Francisco feels guilty regarding this highly disturbed mans demise, maybe they should consider giving their Police force the proper and proven tools to do the job, (i.e. Tasers). Now I'm not so naive as believe that having all the tools will always allow a less than lethal outcome in these cases. What I am saying is that Law Enforcement is not an absolute science, it is difficult and often the final choice regarding the outcome is in the hands of the would be suspect. Having more options my and often does result in a much better and safer, (for the suspect), outcome. Not every problem is a nail. So way do you prohibit the use of other tools? If you think Tasers look aggressive than I think your City Council has failed to realize a gun can be much more aggressive and permanent. Sometimes a gun is the appropriate tool and sometimes another option, a less lethal option can be utilized if circumstances allow.

He is a criminal and should not be rewarded for his lack of respect for the law.

To the San Francisco Police force: I am with you 100%. San Fran has become a cesspool for the depraved. I will never visit this decrepit city again. This is what decades of liberal Democrat rule has brought you.

How dare the City honor a criminal. I was born in SF and was proud. I can honestly say I no longer feel that way. I am proud of our officers. You complain how they officers do their job, why don't all you anti police dawn a uniform for a day and let's see how well you do it. Cheers to our men and women in blue.
