"The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern." Proverbs 29:7 What about the victim? "Poor" victim.

Odious, reprehensible, offensive, whatever words you want to use, know that the Ruling Elites of SF have once again revealed themselves to be beyond spineless, immoral and complicit in their allegiance to the infection that is spreading throughout America, Political Cowardice. Congratulations Fourth Reich you have outdone your morally degenerate selves this time.

I wonder if one of these supervisors or a family member had been the slashing victim would they have voted for this travesty.

San Francisco, this is ridiculous! Are there no heroes in San Francisco that have not assaulted victims? S/Woods died a criminal not a martyr!

The citizens of San Francisco need to take to the streets to remove all officials who support this proposal.

An outrageous resolution that would only be passed in a city like San Francisco (I hope). I am done visiting that city and supporting it in any way.

Not only will I not vacation in San Francisco, I refuse to even drive through that town. This proves the point that liberalism is a mental disease

Why on earth would we want to "honor" bad behavior? This guy had just stabbed someone! If he would have simply put the knife down, this never would have happened. Unbelievable!!

I wonder, if it had been a member of the board or one of their loved ones or family members assaulted by Mario Woods if you would have even considered this....but, since it was just some ordinary citizen you do not care. Disgusting

Who the heck came up with the Remembrance Day idea for this person? God will be this person's judge, but aren't Remembrance Days meant to serve as a reminder for positive contributors to the planet? I'm sure it's not likely to be rescinded, but it feels it was applied due to pressure, period and in my opinion not appropriate.

How about honoring the officers that had to make the incredibly difficult decision to use deadly force? Or perhaps honor the incident person victimized by Mario Woods...

While his death may be unfortunate, we must not celebrate criminals who are dumb enough to ignore simple police directions.
