As the wife of a Police Officer I find this very appaling. My husband along with his fellow brothers and sisters in Blue sacrifices his life each and every day to put this element away so as to protect our community from wrongdoing only to be slapped in the face with disrespect.

This would be an unbelievable disgrace! By enacting this, you'd be telling criminals that it's not only ok to attack LEOs, but that it will be rewarded.

Have we come to a point where we reward criminals & discipline LEOs who are doing their jobs & protecting the city they patrol ?? What message are we putting out there for criminals? Free pass to do whatever ? Never mind the victims right ?

Since the elected officials do not have any respect for the Law Enforcement Officers and they would rather honor criminal elements, I call for all Currant and retired Law Enforcement Officer and their families, or anyone who supports Law Enforcement to boycott San Francisco and not spend any money and see how they feel about losing all that tax revenue
