Let's remember those that serve and protect and put their lives on the line for the rest of us! Let's remember those that do good, real heroes! Law enforcement, military, firefighters, etc - let's remember them!!

Honoring this career criminal in just plain wrong. An absolute disgrace.

In no way would I want to honor a person who tried to hurt others. I have worked in Law Enforcement for 21 years and have lost fellow Officers in the line of duty. They are the one's and their families who should be honored!

Thugs don't deserve to be remembered.

On behalf of 8,700 law enforcement employees in Los Angeles County, I urge the San Francisco Board of Supervisors to REJECT any remembrance/honor of Mario Woods or any other criminals. Public Safety and the safety of your constituents should be the focus of your attention.

Stop criminalizing our po's for doing their job! It seems that violent criminals have more rights than anyone else! Just. Stop. I support what the po's did in this situation!

This is a disgrace and a slap in the face of officers who place their lives on the line everyday. San Fransisco should be ashamed.

Absolutely ridiculous. This is NOT the person to have a Remembrance Day. Let's remember the brave men and women in Blue instead!

There ought to be Rememberance Days for LEO's, K9 officers, and civilians killed by thugs and uninvited guests from other countries, near or far.

What a joke we have become. If you allow this to be you have effectively shown the entire world that you have zero respect for law enforcement and those that attempt to follow the very laws put in place to keep the peace in what was once our great nation. You need to stop this foolishness and realize that the only people that should be recognized, and have a day dedicated to them are the ones that protect and serve.
