This is crazy and wrong. Do you even realize what this means? He's a criminal and there's a reason he's dead look at the facts.

When we glorify a criminal we condone his actions it will only corrupt our very own society. This day of rememberance for a uncompliant and dangerous criminal will only serve to justify the minds of other criminals to resist and disobey law enforcement with a feeling of power and immunity. The violence, resistance and hatred toward police will only worsen with this day of rememberance being approved. Society has been put in even further danger by backs being turned against law enforcement officers with such a public display of action. Shame on you for thinking this is any sort of positive. If you value your safety and that of your family, friends, innocent children and adults in this country retract this law and erase this day of rememberance from the calendars of law abiding citizens who just want to be safe. Those that understand respect for authority and are not a danger to society or the law enforcement officers that put their very lives in the line every single day to keep our communities safe.

Remembrance days should honor the hero's and do-gooders, Not lifelong criminals. Do you really think this man should share the same type of public recognition as MLK? It's a slap in the face to all others who would be much better candidates for this honor.

To those that created this day of rememberence: You have just proven you are unfit to lead. If you have a decent bone in your politically correct bodies you will either apologize to law enforcement everywhere for this disrespectful, slap in the face, or resign. Both would be preferable. Although considering the amount of ignorant, idiotic voters that put you into office to begin with, virtually guaranteeing you as many terms as you would like should you continue to pander to them, I will not hold my breath for either outcome.

This has to rank very close to number one as the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
San Francisco used to be a place that I enjoyed visiting. Rest assured I will no longer set foot in San Francisco.

It's horrible...and embarrassing that today no matter what you do, you're still the victim without any consequences even when you're completely on the wrong.
God bless the ones risking their lives everyday to do what's right.

This is nothing but a mockery of our values and society, and shows how no matter what you do you you're never held responsible for your own actions. It is always someone else fault your actions resulted in bad things happening to you.

This is an abomination to honor someone who caused an innocent person harm and is now homeless, and was a gang member! Disgraceful!
