A day of remembrance was never intended for criminals. He resisted, non lethal tactics didn't work, and he had a knife. This is unbelievable.

The fact that the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved this is a complete travesty The fact that the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved this is a complete travesty, and an embarrassment for San Francisco.

Disgraceful to honor this criminal, but not shocking given this is happening in pro-criminal San Francisco

This is a travesty. Since when is honoring criminals something a city should be doing? If would be laughable if it weren't so ridicules and completely out of line. It's an embarrassment to all law abiding citizens.

This country is upside down, when any locality can honor a convicted felon, on parole, who has a gang injunction from the same city, who just attempted to murder someone, and refuses to put down a lethal weapon when confronted by Law Enforcement; gets himself killed and receives a "Day of Remembrance".

This is most ridiculous "day of remembrance" ive ever heard. Nothing more than pandering to the voter base, all the while spitting in the face of law enforcement. Shameful....

As a retired LEO this just makes me sick to my stomach!!! How dare you give him a day of rememberance, but do not give your fallen OFFICERS the same or more respect.

Each member of the BOS should explain themselves to Woods' crime victims and families.

Honoring this criminal when officers acted according to the law to do their job & save lives is DESPICABLE! It's a tragedy that he had to die, but he caused his own death by harming another person & breaking the law. This is disgusting & causes me to lose faith in this city.
