My husband is a SJPD officer ! This is an offense to all police officers and their families ... And especially to families of fallen officers who have died in the line of duty ! How moronic and completely offensive this is .... What is becoming of our society ? All lives matter ... Police lives matter . But sadly the day has come where we pay respect to a criminal and not those who have died with honor or given their lives to their people. Disgusting and sad.

This is the ultimate affront (so far) to law-abiding citizens and PD everywhere. These Supervisors make me ashamed to admit publicly that I am from SF.

In remembrance for a gang member with criminal history? No thank you. Let's take a day of remembrance who sacrifice their lives for the safety and freedom of this country.

Democrat run cities are cesspools of crime and violence. Every police officer in the city should call in sick that day.

SF and their Board of Supes has reached a new low in offensive behavior. To honor a recently released parolee who had just stabbed someone while continuing to avoid honoring those who have laid down their lives to make our streets safer is an absolute travesty!

this is as disgusting as ferguson missouri, laying honor for a thug. bad enough SF is a sanctuary allowing illegals to commit crimes. let us pay homage to real heroes, not criminals.

This is a disgrace. How about honor the fallen officers and firefighters who have put their lives and families on the line to protect those of you in that city. Absolutely ridiculous!

Really?!?! I don't think so. There are far to many (good) people who deserve this. What is our World coming to?
