We can't let cowardly politicians give up the rule of law becuse they are scared of a mob. After all that's why they hire us.

Criminals should not have a day of remembrance When is it ok to not do what the police tell you to do. Board of supervisors are a joke.

How a criminal could be recognized, rather honored, with their own day in San Franciso (my hometown, born & raised) is beyond belief! I'm disgusted & feel discouraged that this "new way" will change the city in which my children will grow up in.

When someone commits a crime they should not be honored for that.

Not the right message to send to our youth. Stab someone and get a day devoted to you.

This is truly disturbing. The man was not an honest citizen, you want the youth to look up and use this man as a role model? What were you thinking? Obviously not much smarts on the board.

He was a cheap jack punk, and a criminal. The bullets were cheaper than the taxpayers footing the bill for his incarnation again.

It's an abomination to remember Mr. Woods for his bad behavior and causing his own demise. Not to mention him putting the officers through this terrible ordeal. The San Francisco Board of Supervisors is Alice in Wonderland, up is down and down is up. Rememberences are for more worthy law abiding citizens.

It was an insult to all police officers

Ridiculous. Slap in the face to all law enforcement and law abiding citizens of San Francisco who work hard everyday and don't go around robbing businesses and people at gun point. Oh, also stab people in broad daylight. This makes me sick and am ashamed of San Francisco Politians for failing the true San Franciscans !
