Why in blue hell would you want to name a day after a career criminal? You have so many other great options.

Newsflash, an individual who is a stabbing SUSPECT, and still has the weapon in his hand, will be surrounded by several officers!! I don't think this liberal newspaper writer has a clue how dangerous suspects with knives are,This thug(am I allowed to use that word?) already stabbed a victim!! This country has taken a turn for the surreal!

I'm sorry, but no. There are many more who deserved to be remembered than a gang banging thug who tried to kill someone.

Why is a criminal being honored with his own day? This is a big part of the problem with this country, you honor criminals instead of true heroes.

He was an adult and chose not to listen to directions and this started because he stabbed a man. He is responsible for putting himself in this position.

Stop honoring criminals, and start recognizing the strength and skill it takes to uphold the law and protect the innocent.

Remember all the pain and expense he caused society Remember his victims. Remember that the investigations into his shooting determined that officers were acting within policy. Remember he was a felon violating his parole. Remember that his actions caused his death Remember that although unfortunate, the world is probably a better place without him. Remember that about Mario Woods

You may as well have a day of rememberance for Serhan Serhan, Lee Harvey Oswald, Timothy McVeigh and other criminals..... Where will this madness stop? Makes me want to puke. Not only a slap in the face to L.E.O.'s but to the law abiding public..

He was a criminal. Why don't we have a Kate Steinle day of remembrance?!!! This is an example of board of supervisors ridiculousness. How do they come up with these ideas. Why don't they come up with an idea to make the streets of the city safer. Why don't they do THAT in a hurry instead of day of remembrance for a criminal.
Ridiculous. Why remember a criminal?
Why? Why would you honor a criminal?
The world has gone mad. No remembrance day!
