Honor the people that put their lives on the line on a dailey basis.

Remembering someone who was engaged in criminal activity serves no one. The family of Mario Woods is owed an apology for the end result, nothing more. The only way to get past the current crisis is to take a good look in the mirror. At some point we all have to account for our own actions. If we demand to be respected then we should be ready to give it. Unfortunately many many people have suffered injustice, all people, of various races and backgrounds. We must move forward, not look back.

This is another example of San Francisco BOS setting incredibly low standards for public behavior as it compares to following our laws meant for the wellbeing of ALL!!! How disrespectful to all law abiding citizens as well as the heros in Law Enforcement who work 24/7 to keep us all safe as they regularly deal with the most dangerous/ drug crazed/ diviant law breakers imaginable!!!!

Hayward PD Sgt. Scott Lunger was killed in the line of duty 7/22/15. Honor a hero on that day; not a felon/armed gang member.

I can't believe this is even a discussion. We should have a remembrance day for fallen law enforcement officers, not felons.

Mario Woods should not be glorified as anything more than a street thug. Stop this insanity. Celebrating this thug further puts this country in a downward spiral.
Honor the people that put their lives on the line on a dailey basis.
