This is an insult to every officer that puts their life on the line day in and day out. It's hard to find words strong enough to convey the absurdity of a rememberence day for a career criminal when there are deserving individuals who have made the ultimate sacrifice and do not even get a second mention in the media.

Anyone who thinks the actions of a CRIMINAL need immortalized and celebrated is an absolute idiotic fool.

We need to stop encouraging bad behavior and start showing respect for those who are upholding the laws of this country! Stop allowing these people to run our country into the dirt! This is not a nation we can be proud of anymore! It's time to change that and make our country great again!!

How dare they SF Board of Dirrectors disgrace our police, city and citizens this way! The guy was a convicted fellen with a prior gun arrest. Had just stabbed someone and was telling police they "better pull the trigger". Our boys in blue have the RIGHT to go home to there families and you people are making it worse for them! Keep honoring criminals and crime will rise! Common sense!

After all these years of running the streets terrorizing the citizens of SF and you reward this gangster with a day of remembrance? Cowards, all of you!

This is an insult to all law enforcement officers and families of victims. These supervisors need to grow a pair and get their heads out of their asses.

You should be ashamed of yourselves for celebrating a criminal who was attempting to harm another.
