A day of remembrance should be for someone who has given their life or has done great work to protect and represent the citizens of San Francisco. Not a criminal thug who died because of his own reckless behavior.

Don't vote for any of the current supervisors ever again for any office. Let's vote in sane people for a change. Remember victims, not thugs.

He was a criminal. Why are we being asked to remember a criminal. Regardless of race or religion this is absolutely ridiculous.

Once again our stupidvisors show their contempt for the citizens of San Francisco by honoring a criminal as well as refusing in the past to deport illegals who have committed major crimes. Do not reelect these fools to any office.

No day of remembrance for a criminal who just stabbed someone and had a violent past.........how about a day of remembrance for all the victims of Mario Woods crimes.

Shame on the Board of Supervisors for lauding the criminal activity of this individual. As is almost invariably the situation in high-profile incidents such as this, the SFPD officers had no alternative but to shoot him, since he refused to be otherwise subdued. The supes' "progressive" posturing is intended to function as a smokescreen for the fact that they do NOTHING for the people they ostensibly represent, apart from collect their almost six figure taxpayer-funded salaries and pass meaningless resolutions such as this one.

Do everything you can to stop this ridiculous remembrance day. We should not honor people who are out on the streets committing crimes.
