By doing this, you defile every person who has ever (or will ever) wear The Badge.

Sf is a joke, remember some thug who didn't listen to officers and who just stabbed someone, sends a real good message for the kids...

How absolutely appalling that City Officials would support a Day of Remembrance for a criminal, especially when they have never supported such a day for those who have fallen in the service to the city.

This is sickening. How dare you do this, what about all the SFPD officers that gave their lives in the line of duty??? Ashamed that I ever lived in San Francisco. Resident of Florida , and retired Police Officer of California

That is a slap in the face for all law enforcement. Why are we honoring a hoodlum?

Honor those who give their lives to serve and protect, not those who seek to harm others.

SF City Council should be ashamed of themselves. Honoring a criminal is spitting on the SFPD!

Shame on the board of Stupidvisors honoring a violent career criminal who stabbed an innocent person and refused to drop his weapon when ordered to do so by Police . Are they kidding?? Fire them all and do not have a Mario Woods rememberance day.

Disagree with this. We should be honoring our first responders and not the criminals. How many first responders put their lives in danger daily, on or off duty.
