Absolutely absurd to honor a criminal with his own day of remembrance! They should be remembering the Officers who removed this threat to society.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I can't even believe this is possible. If his family and friends want to remember him fine do that like everyone else does when a family member dies.

This is unnecessary and ridiculous. There shouldn't be a day to remember him.

What's next ?? Al Capone day or, maybe, Shrimp Boy Day ?? Honor heros and productive citizens, NOT criminals !!

This is crap! So why does this douche bag deserve a day and our officers or other members of military not deserve one!

Only in this city can this sort of insanity prevail. David Compos should focus on the troubles in his own district, filth, urban campers, violence, etc and stay out of other districts.

What a disgrace !!! How dare you honor a criminal !!! He was threatening, law enforcement officer, who Told him to drop his weapon repeatedly . You as supervisors are supposed to support your law enforcement !! Obviously, you don;t have the common sense to do so. Why not honor those officer's who die in the line of duty ? They are the ones that deserve a Day of Remembrance.
