It is not fair that fallen officers do not receive a day but somebody caught in criminal activity does! Rewarding bad behavior will breed even worse behavior.

Why would you honor someone who never did a good thing in his life? This is absolutely disgusting....why don't you honor the public servants? The cops, firefighters, paramedics, first responders? Grow a pair of balls and drop this "day of honor"

Endless disappointment in my city of birth and one I was once proud of; I never mention where I'm from anymore out of embarrassment.

This is insulting, morally and ethically. When we honor evil doers we sanction their actions.

Supervisors jumped when people protested and decided to go against our police officers.
Let the investigation finish and then do something after the results come out.
Supervisors are all political, should be liable of their action

This is BS. Mario Woods got exactly what he deserved. Condolences to the family, but it was his own actions that caused the families pain.

My family came to this country with nothing and had to earn everything they got. My great uncle died in the line of duty in the US Marines in Vietnam. All the men in our family served atleast one tour of service and got up early every morning early and came home late to support their family. We didn't steal , we didn't rob, we just worked hard and were loyal. I was born in San Francisco, and this day does not represent me, my family, my country, or the hardworking honest morals of the people of San Francisco!! No Mario Woods day!

Why support a thug and criminal?!?! Supporting the criminal is a huge part of what's wrong our country! Says commit a crime and we will give you a medal.
We should be praising and having days for our hard working under appreciated police and fire services!!!
