Yet another overreaction by SF to placate anti-police thugs.

This man did nothing to deserve a citywide "Remembrance Day." While it's very unfortunate that a young man died, we have to remember that the police gave him every chance to get out of the situation alive. The SFPD are being unfairly vilified by the extreme far left.

Absolutely appalling!! How dare the city council approve this! The continued glofification of criminals instead of supporting our law enforcement community continues to sicken me

It is incomprehensible to me that supervisors could even consider such an ill conceived motion.

I do not live in the city of San Francisco but I don't think the message this is sending is appropriate. It is a " slap in the face" to the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect the city

I am born and raised in this Beautiful city , I know times have changed. The true sf people that are still around are appalled, even the ones that are law abiding citizens. Y ou forget that that officers lost there lives in the line of duty. Do we have a day that they would bow there heads for? No we don't it's always been a thankless job, but believe me cops are out there protecting you and your families. I hope the silent voice comes forward, instead of the voice of the few that has caused chaos

No day for violent felons who refuse police orders.
