Should never have come up for a vote! Have a day of remembrance for those who deserve it.

Where's the fallen Officers remembrance day? San Francisco has a horrible case of head in ass syndrome.

I am born and raised in this Beautiful city , I know times have changed. The true sf people that are still around are appalled, even the ones that are law abiding citizens. Y ou forget that that officers lost there lives in the line of duty. Do we have a day that they would bow there heads for? No we don't it's always been a thankless job, but believe me cops are out there protecting you and your families. I hope the silent voice comes forward, instead of the voice of the few that has caused chaos

This is the most insane thing SF has done. Honor a felon that was resisting arrest for a possible stabbing while still wielding a knife. WTF are you thinking.

I do not feel that Mario Woods should be honor and have a day set aside for him. There are many fallen police officers that deserve a day in their name.

Doesn't the board of supervisors have better things to do? How about fixing those potholes I have to run over every day for the last how many years?

Stop supporting criminals and start supporting the people who keep the politicians such as these spineless politicians safe

Criminals do not deserve a Memorial Day! All of the police that have been murdered should be receiving recognition for what they have done. Thugs are not there to help the world. They are just another monster.

Honoring a criminal for criminally stupid behavior? This is a true disgrace, and an affront to the law abiding members of our society. Shame on these pandering board members!

I'm a long time resident and PROPERTY TAX payer of SF. This is an outrage. Support our brave police officers who have to deal with criminals who do not obey laws or simple instructions, The supervisors should be ashamed of themselves. Are you completely insane? Mr Campos, you said you didn't know that there has not been a day of remembrance for fallen police officers, yet you support this nonsense. You and the rest of the board are misguided and not doing basic research on this issue before making decisions. That is the definition of incompetence. Stop using my property taxes to do this! you should have known before even considering this shameful attempt. I am appalled and will never ever vote for any of the current board. Absurd.

The Supervisors of San Francisco should all be kicked off! They are certainly NOT representing a once proud city.
