It is a horrible decision to rezone our lots! It doesn’t help the homeless people! Will only cause the new properties to raise and the traffic to become unbearable! CC needs to keep our small town charm that we all love! One of the reasons I moved here 1972!

It could be that the Council is simply trying to comply with state mandate and provide low-cost housing. Or, they have been bribed by developers to pursue up-zoning. The REAL bottom line is that adding still more people to this part of the city degrades quality of life for everyone. I don't appreciate traffic gridlock, pollution, blight or water use restrictions one bit.

These council members are merely opportunistic issue surfers looking to advance their careers at the expense of those they are supposed to be representing. When this wave plays out they will ride the next one as far is it goes without regard to merit, sense or decency.

They are only concerned about their own Agenda and twisted and ignored the concerns of the majority of residents speaking at online meetings. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.

When the current City Council does not listen to the overwhelming voices against up-zoning in an already family oriented city then it means they don't care about the people who actually live here but rather to the voices of outside handpicked "city planners" who are being paid , out of our taxes to give us only 3 options which miraculously matches the ideas of the gang of 3 Counsel Members. These 3 members are presenting and forcing only their 1 option of what they think our city should look like. The gang of 3 in City Council has wrangled, manipulated and forced their personal agendas. It's obvious they have no intention on listening to the voices of the community who care very much about this city, and who continue to live and work here. This is the time to cut them off of the false race-shaming in order to build commercial buildings in our R-1 neighborhoods. We need a serious recall on City Counsel and a better vetting process put in place to stave off more runaway "Projects" that taxpayers have paid for against our will. There will be even more LAWSUITS against the city because of their hasty decisions. Our city is right now in financial trouble because of this counsel's past decisions. Thank you Goran Eriksson and Albert Vera for trying to talk some sense into the other members. There ARE other options. Taxpayers we deserve better than this.

Fisch and Lee are TOXIC to the City of Culver City. Their agenda has NOTHING to do with the countless voices that oppose AB (or SB) 9 and 10. They MUST be removed from city council immediately!!!!!

Wake up and do what is right for this city! Not your pockets, at least that is how I see it, you cannot care about this wonderful city if you deny the citizens their opinions re what happens in the city! You ask for attendance and when WE have an opinion that differs with yours, you shut them up.......UNFAIR AND BIASED!!!

This zoning change will not make life in Culver City better for the residents (and taxpayers!) of Culver City. It will create a more dangerous and restrictive parking situation in the neighborhoods. It is shameful that our elected officials refuse to properly address the issue and instead revert to racism and silencing the overwhelming majority of residents who all oppose this change in zoning.

It’s so disappointing that three City Council members are not taking into consideration what the majority of the constituents in Culver City want. They are not listening!
