I’m fed up with the three council members Yorrin, Lee and Fisch who remain entrenched in voting with TOTAL disregard to constituents input. It was obvious Fisch read a prepared speech made long before any of the residents spoke at the meeting. It’s pointless they DONT LISTEN to constituents. They just want to further their political careers on the back of Culver City leaving behind a legacy of bad decisions that will cost us millions in lawsuits. 2022 can’t come quick enough time to vote them out.

I live in Lindbergh Park area since 1986. I wish that the three council members change their mind in their idea of re-zoning our city.

We should not endorse council members who have no vested interest in CC
We should not endorse council members who are only using Culver City as a stepping stone for furthering their only personal political agenda
They have proved this to be counter productive
As their ideals are not lined up for the long term best interests of the ALL the Culver City community.

The wonderful thing about the United States is that there are checks and balances and one has a platform to voice your opinion
Let’s not forget that!!
That’s what makes the USA different from all other countries.

We need council members who are accountable to the people who elected them. Lee, McMorrin & Fisch are not listening to the majority of Culver City residents who want to preserve R-1 zoning.

The developers are controlling this city council. What a shame to not have representation. Vote them out.

Long Overdue. Needs a followup recall, or at least an intense effort to toss them out in upcoming elections. The people either don’t pay attention to local elections or have no sense of whom they are voting for (I was guilty of that for years). This council’s actions are so egregious that hopefully this will change!

We need to live in a democracy where we all have a right to vote and have equal say as to what laws are put into place in Culver City. It should not be voted on by a minority of Culver City council members. That is ridiculous!

The most important fallacy is the assertion that up-zoning residential neighborhoods will provide affordable housing.

Deplorable how our city is getting more congested and restrictive. Special agendas being passed through under false pretenses.

Council members Lee, Fisch and McMorrin are seeking to further their own political ambitions by aligning with outside organizers. They do not care if their actions wreck Culver City, overwhelm our infrastructure, streets and schools. They are playing to a larger audience, outside of Culver City, and not representing or doing what is best for the citizens of Culver City and the City itself. We have to stop them before they ruin our city.

This is part of a statewide movement as well as federal legislation hidden in the "Infrastructure Bill" that the current administration is trying to ram through Congress. The California legislature has two bills - SB9 and SB10 - where they hope to eliminate R1 single-family zoning throughout the state. We need to reverse this locally and also support efforts at the state level as well.

After 'listening' to the 200+ residents against eliminating single family housing, the 1500+ petition signatures, the countless emails from concerned residents, Mayor Fisch read his pre-written script approving the move to eliminate single family zoning. Um, did you not just hear that the residents overwhelmingly don't want this?
What a complete sham to act like you heard us and were listening to what we had to say.
Your mind was made up well before you started getting push back. You've made it clear that we're all just a nuisance.

Couldn’t agree more. This is INSANITY!!
The council of 3 had their minds made up before the meetings, and did not listen to the hundred of speakers and thousands of petition signers who were STRONGLY against moving forward on this plan. This has to be stopped NOW before it’s too late!!!

If this is not a ballot issue, this council must go.
