The City of Boulder’s actions on land use changes are illegal! If you would just follow your standard operating procedures, allow Gunbarrel residents to voice their thoughts and be willing to compromise, you might get the cooperation you need. Bad faith actions and bad faith negotiations bring out angry residents. This is OUR neighborhood and we won’t stand for this.

Former president of Gunbarrel...it would be such a shame to see these huge changes to lose such natural beauty of which myself & family appreciated for so many years...until we moved to Redmond Wa

The Twin Lakes area needs more trees, birds, rabbits and foxes. We don't need more automobile drivers on our tiny street. We need more bird songs and coyote howls instead of commercial music and sonic garbage. Twenty acres of new asphalt will divert flood water into Twin Lakes Road neighborhoods.

I am VERY concerned about the inappropriate, self-interest of the City officials. We need oversight and adherence to honorable, honest practices.

I grew up in Gunbarrell and this section of Twin Lakes is very important. If we keep building on spaces like this the nature and beauty of Boulder County will dwindle. Please do not build here!

We cannot change the land-use designations for these lands in Gunbarrel/Twin Lakes area! It is important that we preserve this precious open space for wildlife and for quality of life of current residents! Too much high density housing in the area already. The infrastructure cannot support what is here now-crowded supermarket (only one!), narrow and busy streets make it impossible to get around Gunbarrel, especially at rush hour times. NO MORE development, NO MORE changing Land-Use!

As a CO resident, former employee of Boulder County Parks and Open Space, bachelor of science in wildlife science and current masters student in molecular ecology, I implore you to keep natural areas wild and to provide further natural areas to reduce the detrimental effects of fragmentation.
