No one is going to do anything on the last day of lessons anyway as we usually do fun stuff. For year 10s & 11s it is a day we can spend with our form rather then x form. It is stupid, no one will be concentrating and even the teachers think this is stupid. This is a school tradition and its not fair that he's changing it. Covering our ankles, preventing us from wearing skinny jeans or leggings, taking away our vans and converse and no letting us dress as muggles wasn't enough for him that we have to do LESSONS on the LAST DAY? Outrage.

3 years studying the courses, countless nights up late, 2 months of GCSEs, of what use are 5 lessons after that.... Ridiculous

It is so unfair that we work hard for 3 months and most of us look forward to the last day of term. What is the reason for this change? I don't get it because we have worked hard too and there is only three of these days in a school year.

I believe that after a long term of hard work we should be allowed one last day of fun activities. It has always been like this and hasn't been a problem in terms of finishing our course of work, so why now?

Aren't we allowed to have any fun amidst the stress that this school puts us through? People are driven to tears and exhaustion on a daily basis for WHSG, at least give us a day to have some fun with our friends before mocks and GCSEs start.

This is a school tradition and it is completely unfair to have it taken away when we work so hard every day of lessons. The party at the end of each term is supposed to be a time to relax with friends, catch up with people and look forward to the holidays ahead.

... Honestly what happened to having some fun in this school?! GCSE grades seemed to be fine without this extra day of 30 minute lessons that, not only puts unnecessary stress on the students (who won't be concentrating at all by the way) but the teachers too, who have to conjure up a 30 minute lesson plan that seemingly won't be forgotten as soon as we leave the classrooms for 3 weeks.
This is what happens when we let a man take charge of our school...! #BringBackBurton
