It's not like we're even gonna do anything on the last day during lessons so what's the point of lessons? Give us a break

As a year 11 who is working very hard towards my GCSEs, I would very much appreciate if the school did something for once that does not put us in a compromising situation by flooding us with work and stress, but instead allows us to spend a day having fun as come September time, we will no longer be in the same form. Just do us a favour and ALLOW US FAM JFC

Its so unfair that a change in headteachers has changed so much about our school, most for bad as well. I think that the lasts day of school was a fantastic way for forms to make better friends with each other and celebrate the end of the term.

I personally find lessons on the last day of school to be a ridiculous notion. Not only does it break tradition from what we have done every other years, but it will also only waste time. Not to be disrespectful - because education is important - but it is most likely that our teachers will not give us classwork and will instead allow us to watch films or play games. Additionally, by implementing lessons we are losing valuable time which could be spent woth our forms. Currently, both year 10 and year 11 spend no lessons with their house and so to take away our chance of celebratig the end of term is dissappointing and unfair - especially considering the amount of stress and work going into GCSES. It is important to stay close as a form despite X-forms becaus of events which encourage unity, such as sports day. We also should be allocated this time to having time with our form because KS4 students do not get to spend as much time with their friends. KS3 students are also feeling pressure and deserve a break from what is difficult for them. Therefore, by discontinuing our celebrations, our connections are being weakened and the student body is collectively less happy and finding school to be a burden, rather than an enjoyable opportunity to be educated.

Did Mr B actually say this was happening or is this just a rumour?

Omg! I thought the last day is meant to be a day when the house or form come back together and talk about things but seems like some people won't let this happen
