Putting a 4 lane highway directly through this beautiful residential area will destroy our running trials, kids walking to school safely, property values, and overall peace and quiet of our neighborhood. The area has changed vastly since plans were started over 10 years ago. As the city changes, so must the plans for expansion. Help Bekton remain beautiful and peaceful, not turn into multiple highways with houses bordering it. People will stop moving to the area!

Just because the city have talked about this for years does not justify the ltlr. At each end of the intersections, are bottle necks. More traffic jams, noise and pollution.

We moved in this neighborhood. It is a quiet place. All people that live here are friendly and walk there dogs. I am disabled and I use the walk away you are talking about and other families do also. Now with my dog I can be safe. This is a bad idea. Our new house value will go down and it is a new one. Please save our neighborhood. Question, who is in a Hurry to get to lake?

The City of Belton has been insistent on trying to build this road for years. In the current environment, with hundreds of homes having been built in the direct impact areas of this unneeded and unwanted road. In the intervening years, the need to kill this project once and for all is upon us once again and must happen NOW!
The planners and city government seem to have learned nothing from Austin’s experience. We currently have a quiet RESIDENTIAL neighborhood. If the proposed four-lane divided LTLR is built, we will wind up with a similar situation to so many people living in Austin in close proximity to major arterial roads.
As a homeowner and taxpayer in Red Rock Hills, I am adamantly opposed to this unwanted, unnecessary, neighborhood-destroying highway.

The LTLR proposal may have seemed like viable option prior to hundreds of homes built in the area. The City of Belton must re-evaluate this plan from homeowner's perspective. According to a recent city council meeting the loop 121 will be expanding which will help alleviate the traffic issues that may be a concern.

This is absurd. you want to disrupt neighborhoods by putting a highway 10 feet outside peoples backyard? What about the good citizens that work hard and pay at least $9,000 in property tax alone to live here. I completely oppose this. You can't run a highway here. We all relocated here for a reason. There are plenty of roads. Go around one of those. Not my neighborhood.

Due to the exact reason this road was conceptualized 20 years ago, it is no longer a viable option. Belton has grown so much that what once was wide open space is now our backyards! Please reconsider the costs against the benefits....I feel like the currently planned widening of 121 will solve a lot of this problem without disrupting Belton homeowners. And drivers can certainly drive the extra 1/2 mile over to 121 and save $50 million in the process!!!
