Airline passengers will be able to carry small knives, souvenir baseball bats, golf clubs and other sports equipment onto planes beginning next month under a policy change announced Tuesday by the head of the Transportation Security Administration.
This is unsafe and ridiculous. Please sign this petition to let the TSA know we want the decision reversed.
I keep thinking about my last flight and how terrified I would be if these items were allowed in the cabin. Your comments show I am not alone in this fear. I am spending my evenings drafting formal appeals to the leadership at the agency because this policy puts our families at risk.

Seeing this level of support reminds me exactly why I refused to stay quiet when I first heard about this policy. The genuine outrage from all of you proves that my fear for our collective safety on flights is shared by so many others who refuse to accept these changes.

Are they crazy? I cant even take a bottle of water through security but they think a baseball bat is okay. Absolute joke.
