The fact that this hellhole is still in use is a testament to the inhumanity of man to others. The concept of placing unconvicted children in this place is beyond any rational person's comprehension. Where are your morality and ethics? What are you trying to exhibit in a grandious way? Spend the money on education, healthcare, food, and mental health programs instead. Society gains nothing by throwing people away.

This is an awful idea! These are children who often don’t even understand their crime. Putting them in this kind of location will not result in rehabilitation and a return to society, but set them up for a life of crime.

Youth should NEVER be housed in an adult prison! I worked with teenagers for 40 years and I know this population. This practice would harm not only the youth, but all of society. No more forced PTSD!
