Placing children in prison with adults will only serve to solidify more strongly the likelihood that these children will return to that prison as adults. NO KIDS IN ANGOLA PRISON!

Children must first be treated as children. They must be protected and educated. Sincere efforts at rehabilitation must be made. Severe, punitive measures only worsen their condition and cost society more in the end.

Oh, come on, Louisiana. Where is your heart? How can you go to sleep at night knowing you have treated children like their brains are as developed as an adult's? How can you go to sleep at night knowing that the USA already imprisons more of its population than any other country n the world? Doesn't that tell you something...perhaps that the system in the USA is NOT working?

The vision of children not convicted of a crime being housed in cells that were part of Angola's death row gives me shivers. Don't do this.
