We must liberate ourselves from this! Most students at our school are already very smart and intelligent, and are on the path to success in middle school.
Yet, they force us to do IXL and Amplify when Advisory is for us to finish our homework and relax. This is an injustice. We must stop this. Most people don't even like IXL and Amplify! Only the people who ned help academically need this!

why do i have to do ixl and amplify? i need the time in advisory to do homework; I don't get home until 10:00 some days.

Why should the academically on-track kids be forced to do this, I have lots of extracurriculars after school so advisory is the only time I can really do homework productively. Lots of kids are like me and this can contribute to lower grades. Also, name a time amplify/ixl helped you academically. The programs are uninteresting and a lot of students have expressed that these programs didn't help them.
