Remember when it was 20p. Now they want to make it £500 a year. It won't be worth going to work soon

The nhs should not further penalise the staff that already give 100% in commitment and effort every day they work to fund a shortfall created by the mismanagement of its bureaucracy at the top. How about saving some money by streamlining the upper management layers.

I'm definitely against the carparking fees rising. How can this be justified? It's disgusting. I'm really considering a job move.

PHT should make it an absolute priority to support all their staff by not increasing parking charges for the forseeable future. Any increase should be met with work-to-rule or strikes by clinical staff.

Feels like another kick in the teeth, when many staff are finding times increasingly stressful and feeling demoralised and undervalued in work

I work at Derriford and an additional price gives a job change alot of food for thought. We already stay over our hours and this is just another kick

Often work 6-7 days in row as extra to help the Trust. It will not be worth these extra shifts if most is paid on parking charges

I have no family in the South West, therefore it is essential I run a car. I simply cannot afford to run a car and pay for a bus pass. I'll have to find alternative employment, shame after 12 years at the trust.
