Ridiculous waste of money, ruins the square after they've spent so much making it look nice.

I avoid the area. Its a waste of money. Would love to see locals Christmas markets and have local businesses benefit from it.

I do not want an ice rink at the dundalk square. It is ridiculous when there is a perfectly purpose built one that could be used

I dont think anybody is saying get rid of it altogether. Just move it from blocking up the square.

Its a complete eyesore. There are so many better uses for the square over the Christmas period.

The square would be best used for a Christmas market..... something similar to Belfast Christmas market but on a smaller scale........

The Ice Rink is great but not in the market square... It destroys any chance of a festive atmosphere in the town centre...plenty of room down by the marshes or fairgreen

Christmas Market stalls would be better for town. We had a Ice ring in Dundalk and the closed it. How much is this costing ? Who is making money out of it ?

The ice rink is a good idea but a bad location. It should be located in Carroll village car park or the marshes.

I like the idea of a Christmas market in the square rather than the rink, seems a much better use of our center than being used for one massive structure.
