It takes away the beautiful waterfalls. It should either be located at Tesco Extra, Marshes or Retail Park.

I dread seeing the Ice Rink being erected in our lovely Market Square each year. It's a dreadful eyesore and robs the people of Dundalk of our civic space for 8 to 10 weeks of the year.

I do not think the town center should be used as a location for the ice rink. There are other locations better suited for it like up beside retail park or beside Tescos where circuses are held. The maket square is best suited for a market esp at Christmas

Shame to cover the Beauitful water feature & it's colourful lights . Christmas stalls would brighten up the centre of the town . God knows we need life in the town centre & fun . Ice ring is great for the kids but somewhere else .

I could have cryed when I seen this monstrosity going up yesterday I hoped we would have had Christmas market being some atmosphere to the town

Thought I was on my own in feeling saddened by the sight of the ink reappearing, the magnet grounds are a great idea, I certainly feel that the square would be lovely opened up again for Christmas, the magnet is just round the corner. Any argument about town center trade is beeswax, I'm more inclined to go for a coffee in one of the nearby coffee shops when I'm not looking directly at big white tarpaulin tent which limits vision from every angle.
