Its the biggest waste of space I have ever seen in this town... The square should be done up for Christmas with a tree like the big one in the marshes.. Lights and decorations all over making it somewhere people would like to go and get in the festive spirit!!!!

Hate it.. please use space for Christmas markets and real Christmas tree. The ice rink is an eyesore. It's to expensive also..

Much better suited to the wasteland @tescos on hill street.
It can still be enjoyed without being an eyesore :-) A Christmas market would be a lot better suited to the square and would benefit local traders and shoppers more.

Christmas market stalls surrounding the fountains would be much nicer than the ice rink. The ice rink could be erected beside the marshes.

Perfect opportunity to utilise the market square at Christmas for local traders, crasftspeople and entertainment, which would be more beneficial for local businesses and tourists rather than a big tent blocking the square for two months of the year.
