It is a pain for many working families. Students can not join as many after school activities. Also Mercer middle school and John Champe is so much convenient and closer to us!

I feel strongly with regards to taking these children out of their current schools and busing them over 40 minutes away! It is absurd!!!

We have 3 children and live in VA Manor. I have lived in Loudoun since 1999 paying my taxes all of these years. I don't see it fit to have my children shipped to another school when we live a couple of miles to one already.

To remove these children from Mercer and Champe is absurd when we live within a mile, to bus them for at LEAST 40 mins with picking up kids, lights and traffic is insane. It will change their entire life for the negative! Asking this of our community is too much. I am all in favor of adding trailers to Mercer and more at Champe. Busing them that far would change how much we as parents and children are involved in the schools. My daughter is in 7th grade and these are vital formative years and that is not something to mess with by changing their life and risking their safety to bus them to Ashburn when we moved here to be at Mercer & Champe.

This must be a joke. I don't like the idea sending my kids all the ways to ashburn to go to school. Just because the school board says. they can come back here when the new school is built. Does mean anything because they can just turn around again and change thier minds. Tell the country to stop building so many houses or send the new neighborhood kids to ashburn. We have been here for 11 years and should have more say, then people just coming into the area.

We built this house in VA MANOR with the opportunity for my 3 children to go to Mercer and John Champe. My family andIare involved in the community especially Loudoun South Little League and both the middle school and high school sports. Our kids have experienced some movement in schools in a short term period and we have been excited with the friends and teachers they built in the time we have been in our home. We have moved up here 3 years ago and moved to this area for community and school systems. We are also already battling home price stability around the power lines coming through our area and now school systems. Maybe loudoun develpoment should have thought about slowing down the permitting of building new homes without having the foresight of the growth. You still have not even broke ground for the willowsford middle school with all their buildout and having them all go to these schools that they were never even slotted for.
